A Song To Remember / The Worms

Ozymandias, Alexander the Great,

Then Julius Cesar thought he´d got it made.

Charlesmange, Ghengis Khan, Bonaparte thought he´d won.

Stalin and Hitler and still more to come.

So count all your sins, the nightmare begins.

The devil steps in and he asks what it takes to remember.

The world in your hand, you got the command.

But the only thing you´ve got now is something to remember.

All things great and tall must tumble and fall

And the wind in the ruins sighs sadly a song to remember.

But now all the people you´ve killed and you´ve slain,

The tortured, the wounded, the raped and the mamed,

The innocent ones that no mercy could save

All stand here assembled to dance on your grave!

For here come the worms, they´ll eat your brains out,

They´ll have a party in your entrails.

They´ll take good care of your earthly remains!

Hey Alexander, how does it feel?

Hey Julius Cesar, how does it feel?

For here come the worms, they´ll eat your brains out,

They´ll have a party in your entrails.

They´ll take good care of your earthly remains?

Hey, Xi and Kim, how does it feel?

Assad and Putin, how does it feel?
